HOT ! Other Products ｜H9614P SECURITHERM BIOCLIP Removable Spout Wall-Mounted Thermostatic Mixer Tap

Wall-mounted thermostatic sink mixer engineered for healthcare environments. Features sequential control that opens and closes with cold water, eliminating cross-flow risks between hot and cold supplies. The innovative design eliminates non-return valves, reducing bacterial proliferation while maintaining maximum hygiene standards. Supplied with two removable chrome-plated brass spouts for continuous cleaning and disinfection. Anti-scalding failsafe automatically shuts off if either water supply fails, with temperature adjustable up to 40°C. Securitouch thermal insulation prevents burns, whilst the hygiene control lever requires no manual contact. Flow rate regulated at 7 lpm with 200mm centres and STOP/CHECK connectors ideal for hospitals. WRAS approved and backed by a 30-year warranty. Suitable for healthcare facilities, care homes, and people with reduced mobility.
Being WRAS approved it demonstrates compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or Scottish Byelaws which require that a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard.

STOP/CHECK Connectors

Act as stopcocks
Allows isolation of water supply so that the mixer can easily be removed for descaling, disinfection and maintenance.
Anti-scalding failsafe can be checked

The DELABIE solution: thermostatic mixers without non-return valves
The problem of elevated cold water temperatures can be the result of cross flow between the DHW and the DCW at the point-of-use, due to faulty non-return valves. If this is the case, hot water can flow back into the cold water supply pipes, increasing the temperature and resulting in bacterial proliferation. However, it is almost impossible to regularly and systematically check the non-return valves on the mixers, unless you have a large budget and a lot of staff.
To overcome this difficulty, DELABIE has designed a thermostatic shower mixer without non-return valves, which prevents any cross flow between the DHW and DCW. It protects patients against the risk of scalding from DHW at 55°C if the cold water supply fails, and also reduces the risk of bacterial proliferation thanks to its mechanism with no non-return valves and its design.
